You could find my hero on a sports bottle
Now they might as well be spokespeople for horse tranquilizers
NBA equals Nothing But Addicts
Baseball players are either base heads or crackheads
Shooting up narcotics in the teams bathrooms
Football players?
Lets just say there's a reason NFL is in the middle of coNFLict
Ray Lewis and O.J. got off they charges
While Maurice Clarrett just misses his mommy
The hero’s of today
Are selling their championship rings on ebay
To support habits that they cant seem to catch up with
25 million dollars a year
a quarter of that goes to taxes that they’ve been evading
a quarter goes to the mothers of their babies
and the other half goes to Vegas
the positive musicians and artists are getting shot outside of clubs
or getting arrested for smack'n up they significant others
self incriminated themselves because they confess in their lyrics
just to impress the consumer with their appearance
but apparently
these quote unquote HEROES of this generation
have children too
on a strict diet of drama as their mental food
I couldn’t fathom see'n my mom or dad on TV making some idiotic move
Getting sued
Introducing drugs into schools
So if you are a name that kids look up too
Watch what you do
A child's mind is impressionable
